Who We Are

Stages Pediatrics is a unique pediatric medical practice whose mission is to oversee the health of your children from birth until young adulthood. Established in the heart of Washington Heights and serving surrounding neighborhoods since 2008, we focus in parental education and in providing continued support to help them through their children’s sickness, minimizing unnecessary interventions or medication when there are not proven benefit from it.

More than ever, we are aware of how much what children see, hear or do may lead to behavioral/mental conditions that could affect them. We want to assist parents and emergent parents on that journey of raising their children, caring for all the elements of health, embracing the physical, the mental and the spiritual aspects, hoping to improve their life with good health and happiness, growing to be good citizens of the world. Therefore, counseling and anticipatory guidance are vital components of every visit. We believe firmly that a physical exam does not consist simply in taking vitals, a blood test, prescriptions or vaccinations; it is the dedication to pursue wellness in your child and your family, strengthening through guidance the parent-child/teen relationship. Come when you need us! We are here for you.

Our goal is to provide patients and parents with all of the information necessary to play an active role in the health of themselves or their children. Depending on parents concern, we will allocate time to answer those needs. We offer professional medical advice for health issues such as children’s obesity and asthma but also learning and behavioral issues including drug use, alcoholism, helping the patient to live a healthier lifestyle.
